Lagoon Cove has a big workshop and Dave had some laminate to cut up to complete the master shower repair. So we decided to hang out at Lagoon Cove for the day and work on a few projects. Dave worked mostly on the solar panel installation. He discovered that the controller box he had purchased wasn’t as advertised. It didn’t have the Maximum Power Point Tracking – so it was supposed to figure out how to take the maximum power out of the solar cell automatically. As a result, we are only getting half the power out of the cell that we should be. Dave ordered another unit but will be some time before we will be somewhere long enough to have it delivered.
