Dave gets up at dawn and heads out. He has to go home, water the plants, and pick up some gear for his test flight with the FAA. The morning flights go well, but they have an equipment failure (unrelated to the Dynon gear). Taxiing out to the runway in the afternoon a piece of carpet jams up the rudder and they start driving in circles. Ooops. Thank god that didn't happen in the air when a rudder failure could have been much more disastrous. The team discusses the fix but decide to head back to the hanger and pick up test flying tomorrow. Meanwhile Melissa has been struggling with internet bandwidth all day. Very odd as she has been sitting at Elliot Bay - where in theory - TMobile cell phone data coverage should be solid. Its better in the afternoon when she sets the cell phone on the deck. But still not great. Hmmm.
